manyparse ("we", "us", or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our services.

• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address. Optionally, you may provide your name.
• Uploaded Documents: Any files you upload (PDFs, Word documents, images, etc.) are stored and processed to extract information. These may contain personal data.
• Usage Data: We track your credit usage (i.e. how often you use the service) to manage your plan and usage limits.

We do not track user behavior, browsing patterns, or use analytics tools.

3. Where and how we store your data

We use Firebase (a service by Google) for:

• Authentication
• Firestore Database (hosted in the Netherlands, EU)
• File Storage (hosted in the EU [Multiregion])

All data is stored securely and access is restricted.

4. Data security

All data stored in our systems is automatically encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption methods (AES-256). This includes data stored in Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage for Firebase. Encryption and decryption are handled transparently by Google's infrastructure.

5. AI processing by third parties

We use external AI services to analyze and extract information from uploaded documents. This includes:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT): for language-based data extraction and field recognition
• Google Document AI: for OCR and document structure analysis

These services may temporarily process textual content of your documents on servers located outside the EU, including in the United States. We ensure that such processing is governed by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

No training or reuse of your data by these providers occurs, and data is not stored permanently on their systems.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google LLC): for hosting, authentication, database, and storage
• Stripe (Stripe Inc.): for payment processing

These services may process data outside the EU. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and similar safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion
• Request data export (portability)

We only use essential cookies for session management and login functionality. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.
